Our approach to COVID-19

Cool Repair Scientific UK Ltd take the COVID-19 threat seriously and we are taking all reasonable measures to prepare for and mitigate the risk of COVID- 19 to our team members, our clients, and our business. Cool Repair Scientific UK Ltd has an established risk mitigation strategy for all our critical activities, risk assessments, and crisis-management protocols. We activated this strategy as soon the extent of the pandemic was known. Our team continue to meet regularly to monitor activities and adapt our operations to the changing environment.

Our employees

Cool Repair Scientific UK Ltd acknowledges that employers have a vital role to play by taking the necessary action to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our employees and their families.

Our employees have received COVID-19 training and are committed to maintaining strict social distancing and hygiene standards by following the advice from the World Health Organisation and Public Health England.

We have processes in place to limit the transmission of infection including social distancing and extended hygiene protocols. We are supporting our employees who need to self-isolate, fall ill, or need to make other work-life adjustments for childcare and elder care with amended policies.

Our office / Workshop

We have taken additional precautions to protect our workforce and visitors. Newly introduced measures include increased cleaning and disinfection, limited access for visitors and the availability of personal protective equipment.

We have comprehensive plans to temporarily close part or all of our office / workshop to perform deep cleaning in the event an employee or visitor is considered a risk, shows symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19.

All visitors to our office / workshop will be asked to read this statement and agree to comply with our new working practices. All visitors must complete a Visitor’s Questionnaire to self-declare their health status as part of the governments track and trace recommendations. Any visitor who declares COVID-19 symptoms will not be permitted to visit our office.

When our employees are asked to visit a client, they must be provided with similar COVID-19 protections from the hosting business in advance of that meeting.

Meetings

Our approach to meetings is that they should be limited to “essential meetings” only. This is to limit unnecessary travel and footfall within our Queen Square office. Non-essential meetings will be conducted by video conferencing or telephony.

Events

All internal and external events have been rescheduled virtually, postponed, or cancelled until further notice.

Our services

The guidelines allow our employees to operate effectively and safely in any location. We do not anticipate that there will be any restrictions on our ability to deliver our services to the highest standards.
